Data Deletion Policy
Last Updated: May 30, 2026
00. Status of this document
This Data Deletion Policy is currently in effect.
This Data Deletion Policy is in effect and describes how we handle deletion of your data. Material changes will be notified per the "Changes" section.
01. Overview
You can permanently delete your Blockchain0x account and the associated personal information by submitting a request through the email channel below. This Policy explains what gets deleted, what we are required to retain, how to request deletion, and how long the process takes. Account deletion is a strict-superset action of cancellation - it removes the account itself, not just the subscription.
Account deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted, your personal information, agent profiles, dashboard configuration, and API credentials cannot be restored.
02. What gets deleted
On deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days of the verified request:
- Account information: email address, name, organization name, sign-in credentials.
- Agent profiles you created: agent names, slugs, public profile pages, verification badges, dashboard configuration.
- API credentials: all API keys, signing secrets, webhook secrets you generated under the account. These are revoked immediately on request and removed from active storage on deletion.
- Support communications: messages exchanged via the contact form, support email, or sales calls associated with your account.
- Dashboard usage data: logs of your navigation, settings changes, and admin actions, beyond what regulatory retention requires.
- Newsletter and marketing preferences: the email address and consent records associated with marketing communications.
03. What we must retain after deletion
The following categories cannot be deleted on request, for legal or technical reasons:
- Transaction metadata under regulatory retention. Tax, anti-money-laundering, and accounting laws in the jurisdictions where we and our service providers operate may require us to retain transaction records for up to 7 years. These records are retained in archival, access-restricted storage and used only for legal or regulatory purposes.
- On-chain transaction history. Blockchain transactions you initiated through the Service are recorded on a public blockchain (Base, Solana, etc) by the chain operator, not by us. We do not control blockchain state and cannot delete on-chain records. This is a property of public chains.
- Aggregated and de-identified analytics. Statistics that have been aggregated and de-identified are retained for service-improvement purposes; they no longer relate to you as an identifiable individual.
- Records of sanctions-screening and abuse-related decisions, where retention is necessary to maintain the integrity of our compliance program.
If you believe a retention period in this list has expired and a record about you is still being processed, contact us and we will review.
04. How to request deletion
To request deletion of your Blockchain0x account, email [email protected] from the email address associated with the account, with the subject line "Delete my account".
Include the following so we can verify and act on the request:
- Your workspace name or workspace ID.
- Confirmation that you understand the action is permanent.
- If you have outstanding agents with USDC balances on connected wallets, the address you would like remaining balances withdrawn to (or confirmation that you have already withdrawn).
We may ask a follow-up verification question if the request comes from an email or workspace where we cannot confidently authenticate the requester.
05. Timeline and confirmation
- Acknowledgement: within 2 business days of the request landing in [email protected].
- Verification and processing: within 7 business days for a typical workspace.
- Final deletion from active systems: within 30 days of verification, except for the retained categories listed in section 03.
- Confirmation: we send a confirmation email to the original address once the deletion is complete.
06. Things to do before requesting deletion
- Withdraw any USDC balances from connected wallets. The Blockchain0x service does not custody funds, so deletion of your account does not delete crypto-asset balances on your connected wallets - but if your wallet provider depends on Blockchain0x for access (e.g. session keys, API-driven signing), confirm you have an alternative path to your funds.
- Cancel paid subscriptions first. Use the dashboard or email [email protected]. Deleting an account does not automatically prorate or refund the current billing period; the refund framework in our Refund Policy applies.
- Export anything you want to keep. Transaction logs, audit reports, and configuration are available for export from the dashboard before deletion. Once the account is deleted these are no longer retrievable by you.
07. Alternatives to deletion
If full deletion is more than you need:
- Cancel a subscription: stop future renewals without losing access to historical transaction data or the dashboard.
- Disable an agent: use the dashboard to mark an agent paused, which stops it from initiating payments while keeping its historical record intact.
- Rotate API keys: if your concern is a leaked credential, you can rotate keys without deleting the account.
- Pause marketing emails: the unsubscribe link in every marketing email is a one-click change.
