Refund Policy

This Refund Policy is a working draft published in advance of formal legal review. It reflects the refund standard Blockchain0x intends to offer for self-serve SaaS subscriptions, but has not been signed off by external counsel. Material changes will be notified per the "Changes" section once review completes.

01. Overview

Blockchain0x is a SaaS product billed by subscription through Stripe. This Refund Policy describes when and how you can request a refund, what we will refund, what we will not, and how the process works. It is intentionally short, because the rules are simple.

This Policy supplements the Terms & Conditions and forms part of the agreement between you and Tosh Labs Private Limited.

02. What this policy covers

This Policy covers:

  • Subscription fees charged through Stripe for the Pro, Business, or any other paid plan offered by Blockchain0x.
  • Workspace seat fees for additional users added to a workspace.

This Policy does not cover:

  • Transaction fees netted from completed payment flows (the percentage of payment volume processed through your agents). These are earned by Blockchain0x when payments succeed and are not refundable.
  • Gas or chain fees paid to the underlying blockchain network. These leave our system as the price of using the chain and are non-recoverable.
  • Third-party fees charged by Stripe, Circle, Coinbase, or any other provider, where those fees are determined by the provider's own terms.
  • USDC or other crypto-asset transfers that your agent has initiated. Blockchain transactions are final; we cannot reverse them.

03. 14-day pro-rated refund for new subscriptions

If you cancel a new paid subscription within 14 days of the first charge, we will refund the pro-rated unused portion of the current billing period.

Specifically:

  • The refund is calculated as subscription fee × (days remaining in billing period ÷ total days in billing period), rounded to the nearest cent.
  • You keep access to the Service until the end of the current billing period (the refund is for unused days, not for services already consumed).
  • One 14-day refund per workspace lifetime. Re-subscribing after a previous cancellation does not reset the eligibility.
  • Available on all self-serve paid tiers. Enterprise contracts (negotiated agreements with custom terms) are governed by their own refund language, not this Policy.

To exercise this right, email [email protected] within the 14-day window with your workspace ID and the Stripe invoice number. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe within 5-10 business days of approval.

04. After 14 days

After the 14-day window has passed, paid subscriptions are non-refundable for the remainder of the current billing period. You can cancel a subscription at any time through the dashboard or by emailing billing - cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

  • Monthly subscriptions: access continues until the end of the current monthly period; no further charges apply.
  • Annual subscriptions: access continues until the end of the current annual period; no further charges apply, and no pro-rated refund is issued for unused months.

05. Refunds outside the 14-day window

Outside the 14-day window, we will refund a billing cycle (or a pro-rated portion of it) only in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate billing: verified administrative or technical errors causing double-charging. We will refund the duplicate charge in full.
  • Prolonged service unavailability: if the Service is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours due to a fault on our side (excluding scheduled maintenance and third-party provider outages we have no control over), we will refund the affected billing period on a pro-rated basis on request.
  • Material breach of these Terms by us: if we materially breach our obligations under the Terms & Conditions and fail to cure within 30 days of written notice, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.

Refund requests outside the 14-day window are reviewed case by case. The existence of these exceptions does not create a general right to a refund.

06. How to request a refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email [email protected] from the email associated with your Blockchain0x account.
  2. Include your workspace ID, the Stripe invoice number for the charge in question, and a one-line description of the refund category (14-day, duplicate billing, prolonged downtime, etc).
  3. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve approved refunds within 10 business days of approval. Refunds are issued back to the original payment method.

For disputed charges, please contact us first rather than initiating a chargeback through your bank. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in the account being suspended pending review.

07. No cash refunds outside the payment method

Refunds are processed via the original payment method (typically the credit card or bank account that Stripe charged). We do not issue refunds in cash, in crypto-assets, or via alternative payment methods. If the original payment method is no longer valid (closed card, closed account), Stripe's standard refund-failure handling applies and we will work with you to find an alternative recipient account.

08. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory consumer rights you may have under applicable law (for example, EU Consumer Rights Directive withdrawal rights or India's Consumer Protection Act). Where your local law gives you a right that exceeds what this Policy provides, that local law applies.

09. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days in advance via email or the dashboard. Refund eligibility for any specific charge is determined by the Policy in effect on the date of that charge.
